Summary
On working in North Philly's Latin community: "This neighborhood is amazing. But to be sane I have to leave it when I'm done work. It's a little depressing but it's so rich, so whenever I feel disconnected or like I'm not contributing enough I have to make up a new project."
On getting started: "My first gig was the Back to Basics party at Silk City with King Britt and Dozia. I always danced in the Philly scene and I'd go to the clubs and get in for free because they wanted me to dance. Dozia-he loved the way I danced, so he felt extremely comfortable with me DJing. So wherever he'd spin I'd be there dancing and play some records. Realistically if it wasn't for him and Lee Jones I wouldn't be where I am now."See the full content of this document
