Executive Cup sailing course

Executives who participate in the two-day Executive Cup sailing course often learn lessons about cooperation and communication. The course was devised by corporate psychologist J. Mitchell Perry, who also uses golf and white water rafting to train business leaders. Barry Patmore, managing partner of Andersen Consulting, says revenues in his division increased 70% due to Perry's leadership training. Patmore now recruits people who are able to learn from problems, rather than avoid them.
