Other CTC Women of Innovation n 2009 include: * Susan Bysiewicz, Connecticut's secretary of state who was recognized for introducing electronic voting machines and other computerized processes; * Zoe Coumia a Yale University researcher working on anti-cancer agents; * Mingjun Huang, senior director of virology at Achillion Pharmaceuticals in New Haven, who is developing commands to treat HCV infection; * Lisa Kuhn, an assistant professor and biomaterials engineer in the Department of Reconstructive Sciences at University of Connecticut Health Center in Farrington; * Joy Wulke, a sculptor who is the founder of Projects for a New Millnnium in Branford; and * Dami Oni-Orisan, a student at the Greater Hartford Academy of Mathematics and Science and New Britain High School, who was recognized for the category of youth innovation and leadership.
