Summary

Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, this is a tour de force by an off-kilter visionary. In addition to "Cigarettes & Coffee" (1993), "Boogie Nights" (1997), and "Punch-Drunk Love (2002), he directed one of my favorite ensemble films, "Magnolia" (1999).

Then he went on to add such credits as "Last of the Mohicans" (1992), "The Age of Innocence" (1993), and "The Crucible" (1996) to his filmography.
