Moviegoers had mixed feelings about "Charlie Bartlett." As one posted online, "Bartlett echoes or outright steals from many other movies set in high school, and I've been seeing a lot of people comparing 'Bartlett' to Terris Bueller's Day Off,' Tump Up the Volume,' and 'Juno.'"

That makes him sound more like Tom Cruise in "Risky Business" than [Matthew Broderick] in Terris Bueller." But don't be fooled. You'll enjoy "Charlie Bartlett" if you merely take it for what it is: a lightweight teen comedy.
