Summary
Take the four lead actors: Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Kate Winslet and Jack Black. After Diaz, it's hard to imagine the other three really even pulling off a romantic comedy, and yet ... the Winslet-Black pairing is far more interesting than anything Diaz and Law offer up. However, Law's character proves deeper than expected and helps keep poor old typecast Diaz from ruining the film.
