Summary
The "environmental justice" movement has looked at the disproportionate placement of toxic and hazardous businesses in lowincome, often minority, neighborhoods. The "achievement gap" between minority and White children continues to affect our entire educational system at a time when we need all our children trained to meet the emerging economic threats from China, India, and around the world. And this says nothing about the dramatic differences in the criminal justice system between the treatment of Blacks and the treatment of Whites, differences which have been documented in study after study.
