Summary
The National Swimming Pool Foundation has awarded one of three grants to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to continue its effort to reduce injury disease in and around the water. The $109,410 grant will be paid out during the next 18 months, and for a third year, will help support CDC's effort to reduce disease outbreaks due to chlorine-resistant pathogens.
