They are, in fact, three well-traveled middle-aged audio pranksters from Seattle-by-way-of-Phoenix who push global ethno-folk music through a trippy prism of peyote, grad school smarts and punkstyle provocation. Be advised: This is miles away from all that prissy world beat crap. That's for tourists, and these guys went native a long time ago. If Dennis Hopper in Apocalypse Now started a band, it would be the Sun City Girls.
