Indiana could wait six years before knowing whether a lawsuit may be filed against the planned Interstate 69 between Indianapolis and Evansville.

Indiana Department of Transportation representatives told the Evansville Courier & Press Editorial Board this week that opponents to a primarily new-terrain route between the two cities could have up to six years from March 24 to file a lawsuit.
