Styling + Profiling = Murder How Many More African-American Men Have to Die?

Summary

Did you ever wonder why nothing ever changes in the inner city? This has bothered me for the past few years. This creates a situation that compounds the problem. A false reality develops. Instead of the real world, people put emphasis upon dreaming, but never work to make their dreams a reality. Traditional norms, folkways, and mores, give way to a substitute reality.

Superficiality takes the place of reality. Insignificant achievements are blown out of proportion. Avocations become vocations. Think about this. Why would someone rent a limousine for a prom for Junior High School children? This is what I mean by shucking and jiving.

Styling and profiling is good if you are in show business. Nevertheless, life is not a show; life is a reality planned by stating long and short-term goals. People who are taught this achieve. People with no values are relegated to the social dung heap. It is not the fault of society. It is the fault of the people who brought you into the world.
