Summary
Enrollments in high-deductible health plans bundled with tax-free health savings accounts have more than doubled in the past 6 months, according to a new survey. Many enrollees are the previously uninsured, although growth has also been seen in large and small employee group health plans. Since regulations were promulgated last August, however, it was too late for many employers to offer this type of plan for the 2005 benefit year.
