Summary
The author is back at his desk after spending five days in Dallas for ASTD's International Conference and Exposition. Perhaps the big "A-ha" moment at the conference for him was during an address by author and big thinker Marcus Buckingham. You want to be part of a strong powerful productive team, Buckingham told the audience, you will figure out what your strengths are and will take them seriously. You will stand up from them day-by-day, week by week. The author has to admit, that is a path he has not always followed.
