In what should be good news for asset-based lenders and factors who finance America's temporary staffing industry, staffing industry employment grew to an average of 3.05 million jobs per day in the third quarter of 2007, according to data released recently by the American Staffing Association (ASA). US sales of temporary and contract staffing services hit a quarterly record high of $18.9 billion. A growing number of asset-based lenders and factors have become a working capital life-line for staffing agencies who often have to wait 90 days or longer to receive payment from their clients.
