Jerry Carey, president and ceo of Union National Bank (Barbourville, KY), is a busy man. In addition to running UNB, he's embroiled in civic duties. On April 3, 2004, he received a special honor when the Jerry W. Carey Baseball Stadium was dedicated at Union College. In 1965, Carey began working at UNB and was named president and ceo in 1975, a position he continues to hold. He has served from 1989-1990 as president of the Kentucky Bankers Association and from 1990-1991 as the organization's chairman. From 1993-1995, Carey was the director of the Cincinnati Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.
