IT could hardly have been all of 24 months since the Chevrolet marque was introduced to the Malaysian market but already the Optra sedan was beginning to look rather long in the tooth. The young and trendy liked it, but the even younger and trendier sort of snorted at the prospect of actually buying one.
In keeping with the generational shift, the Optra5 was born and has come to the Malaysian market. It remains an Optra but with the rear given a major surgical treatment.
