FORT BRAGG, N.C. | A Fort Bragg spokesman says a soldier was shot and wounded, and authorities are working to find the gunman.

Tom McCollum told WRAL-TV that a 23-year-old soldier was shot around 3 a.m. Sunday at the edge of the Army post's grounds. The soldier, who was not identified, was being treated at Womack Army Medical Center. His condition has not been released, according to the television station.
