Sites for Coal Plant Narrowed Down

Summary


A company scouting sites for a $1.5 billion plant that will turn high-sulfur coal into natural gas while removing pollutants has narrowed its choices to five or six southwestern Indiana locations, a project official said.

E3 Gasification President William Rosenberg told the Sullivan Daily Times that the plant's location should be announced within six months.
