"The Israelis have a wonderful PR team and we all know that," she said. "They kept members of the flotilla's crew detained so that they wouldn't be able to speak to the media. That's why we have to speak up for them."

A youthful crowd of about 150 people held a vigil and demonstration against the Israeli raid on a flotilla of aid ships to Gaza that left at least 9 activists dead. Speaking at the event was Mariam Arraf, sister of Huwaida Arraf, the co-founder of the ISM.
