Idaho's only professional opera com- pany is proud to present Opera Idaho Sings Christmas, an enjoyable concert of traditional Christmas music at the beautifully restored Egyptian Theatre. The performance on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. will include selected soloists, Op- era Idaho's Resident Company, and the opera's own Children's Company. To- gether they will sing a variety of familiar Christmas tunes, including the musica sacra of Handel's "Messiah," and lead the audience in the ever-popular sing- along. Where else can you sing along with opera stars without being shushed? This one-night-only holiday season kick-off will be the first under Opera Idaho's new executive director Mark Junkert.
