Summary


In a talkback with the audience at the end of the show, the playwright and actors discussed the meaning behind the play. [Young Jean Lee], the playwright, shared that writing "The Shipment" was extremely challenging for her since she's Korean-American and knows very little about Black culture. Lee also said that much of the show was intentionally confusing and hard to follow, since she does experimental theater and tries to keep the audience guessing.
