Her signature classic "Tom's Diner," once considered that rare paradox--an intelligent novelty hit--has been recalibrated, retouched and generally fiddled with over 30 times, by the likes of Destiny's Child, Lil' Kim, Tupac and, most recently, Danger Mouse.
