Regular music lessons wouldn't do it for Kayla Bruan. She wanted to rock.

That's how she became the first graduate of Norfolk's School of Rock, the local branch of a national school for electric guitar, keyboard and drums. To do it, Bruan even gave up a softball scholarship to George Mason University.
