Summary
As part of its efforts to further expand into the US market, Volkswagen has introduced another variant of its Eos convertible coupe, the 2007 Eos 3.2L, which is equipped with the company's 250-hp, 236 lb-ft of torque V6 engine. This makes it the first vehicle available from Volkswagen to be a front-drive car with the DSG transmission. Also, whereas the model year 2006 Jetta ranges from $17,900 to $29,350, the model 2007 is from $16,490 to $26,060. It is clear that VW is not making a downmarket move, but intends to compete on what it calls "Volks-Pricing."
