VIRGINIA BEACH - It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Ruth Hart Nixon on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009. Ruth was the beloved widow of Mack Nixon and the devoted mother of her predeceased son, Robert Nixon. A native of Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Edna Earle Hamilton Hart and Paul Allen Hart.
She is survived by her sister, Edith Hart Thompson of Norfolk; her daughter-in-law, Shirley Nixon; her grandchildren, Carol Kennon, Sheryl Hughes and her husband Michael and Paul Nixon; and great- grandchildren, Ryan and William Foster.See the full content of this document
