FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. | A day after Virginia Tech football coach Frank Beamer said tailback David Wilson and safety Antone Exum will sit out the first quarter of tonight's Orange Bowl for breaking curfew, Beamer announced Sunday that six others were sent home early from Florida.

Beamer wouldn't name those players or describe what rules they broke, but he did say none of the six are in the Hokies' two-deep. They were put on a bus bound for Blacksburg on Saturday and probably didn't arrive until Sunday.
