Summary
This summer, The Resurrection Project re- ceived the 2009 Family Strengthening Award from the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) for its ex- ceptional Financial Ser- vices program. This award, presented in part- nership with the Annie E. Casey Foundation, was given to three outstanding community-based organi- zations whose programs have made a measurable impact in strengthening Latino families. TRP's award winning program involves twelve staff at four different sites, provid- ing families with assis- tance including foreclo- sure prevention, budget and credit counseling, and buying a home for the first time.
