Yet OE fit and form aren't the only characteristics to consider when selecting a replacement hub assembly. There are several important design advantages in a National Hub Assembly that can't easily be seen. These include an integral bearing raceway (some competing units simply feature conventional pressed cartridge bearings), high-temperature oil seal (versus a fragile unit that can quickly fail), and OE-type ABS sensor and wire.
