Reliving the Revolution From the Declaration to Cornwallis, Castle Elementary Students Re-Enact U.S. History

Summary


The fifth-graders of Ms. Salpietra's class at John H. Castle Elementary School revisited the American Revolution by spending May 15 in a re-enactment encampment.

The school's courtyard was set up with a British camp at one end and and a patriot's camp at the other. Boy Scouts set up the tents, which were then transformed by the students into sleeping quarters and a medical clinic.
