Summary
The state economy has continued to falter and the annual state income to our library declined even further in 2008, dropping nearly one million dollars. When added to the nearly five million lost in 2001 and 2002 and the new estimate for 2009, which shows a further decline of 3.2 million, our library's annual state funding is down by approximately nine million dollars, or more than sixteen percent!
