As the Indiana General Assembly resumes work this week in the second half of the legislative session, the progress report of the Interstate 69 project is looking positive. Putting partisanship aside, it is clear that our highest levels of state government recognize that interstate connectivity from Southwest Indiana to our state capital continues to remain a top priority.
In recent weeks, verbal commitments have been pledged from leadership in both the House and Senate to include funding for the I- 69 extension in the next biennial budget to be finalized by the end of April.See the full content of this document
