What you think about when you're thinking about selecting an architect is the program and the context for the project," [Mark Burstein] explains. With its new science buildings, for example, the university sought architects who had distinctly modern designs. Celebrity architect Frank Gehry and his Los Angeles-based Gehry Partners, who are famous for the iconic Guggenheim Museum Bilbao in Spain, were tapped to work on the 87,000-square-foot Lewis Library.

Minno & Wasko has also worked on SteadmanHouse, a five-story 75,000-square-foot mixed-use property with 56 apartments and about 10,000 square feet of retail space. The building is the second phase of the Downtown Redevelopment Project, for which the firm also designed the Witherspoon House, which was completed in 2005 and comprises 24 luxury rental units and 6,000 square feet of retail space.
