TG: There is a lot of fear associated with the vaccine within the Latino community and that's why the education piece is important and alleviating their concern is important. We want to make sure they understand that this vaccine is not going to make them sicker. I think that's kind of the misconception. That's why the hotline was instituted to address those misconceptions. I also think, perhaps, for our families who may be undocumented they don't want to go somewhere and ask for the vaccine. That's why going to your local health department is key because it's free. You go and get it and you don't have to show insurance, you don't need to show anything. So we want to make sure they know that.
