A former employee of the Center Township trustee's office intends to plead guilty to forging thousands of dollars' worth of public- assistance vouchers meant for the poor.

Charlene M. Appman will plead guilty as charged March 22 in Vanderburgh Superior Court. If Judge Robert Pigman accepts the plea agreement, Appman will be sentenced to one year of house arrest and two years of probation.
