A pit bull mix that killed a neighbor's Pomeranian last week will "most likely" be euthanized after Animal Control officials discovered the dog previously killed another animal.
Animal Control Superintendent Tom Hayden said an investigation revealed that Brutus, a 7-year-old pit bull mix, was once quarantined for killing a cat. Hayden said he couldn't say when this occurred, but the dog's owners admitted that it happened. The attack happened in the 1100 block of East Illinois Street.See the full content of this document
