Summary


Last week I wrote a cover story about the struggle for funding, suitable sites and public respect faced by artists trying to create public art, specifically contemporary sculpture, in Evansville.

The story, which ran Aug. 2, included Courier & Press photographer Bob Gwaltney's pictures of some of Evansville's public art pieces, and we are running a slide show on our Web site. Gwaltney's photographs can be seen at courierpress.com online.
