* The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program, which prepares students to teach at the elementary, middle or high school level with the expertise, knowledge and confidence needed to be effective and skillful classroom teachers. Simmons MAT students consistently score in the top echelon on state licensure exams. Our 99 percent pass rate exceeds that of 52 other schools offering teacher-training programs in the state. Simmons offers the option of a one-semester practicum or a full-year student teaching internship.
* The Behavioral Education program (M.S.Ed.) prepares educators and behavior specialists to assess and support learners with special needs in diverse educational settings.
