YORKTOWN - Patricia Helen Council, 67, passed away Friday, July 10, 2009. Mrs. Council was a native of San Antonio, Texas, and former resident of Virginia Beach and Williamsburg before moving to Yorktown in 1992. She was a member and past matron of the Colonial Chapter 40 of the Order of Eastern Star for 25 years.
Mrs. Council is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Gordon L. Council Jr.; daughters, Debbi S. Summersell of Alabama; stepdaughters, Melinda A. Fishel of Maryland and Brenda M. Anderson of Washington state; three sons, Roy L. Brown of Louisiana, James D. Turner of Alabama and Patrick M. Brown of South Carolina; a stepson, Gordon L.
