Summary


Recently I visited C52, our state's winged spokesman for his fellow species, bald eagles.

For those who've never met C52, you can visit him at Patoka Lake. He came to Indiana 17 years ago from Alaska to be part of a program to reintroduce the endangered species to the state. When wildlife officials realized one of his wings was permanently disfigured, he became a permanent resident of the Patoka Lake Visitor's Center, where he works as a living educational tool for Hoosiers.
