Summary


Mona Kelly thinks of her home as a chronicle of family events since it was bought in 1986. "More than 20 years of my life were lived in this house. Our older son was just a little guy when we moved before his brother was born." Their family grew when Kelly's great- grandmother lived with them, an arrangement she recalls fondly. "It was great. Her own apartment (one bedroom and bath, living room, big kitchen and a sunroom) was upstairs on one side of the house, our bedroom was upstairs on the other and everything else happened in between."

"Lots of things are reclaimed- the blue tiles in the kitchen and the [master] bathroom," Kelly says. "[Michael] got the gates and some windows too." They were ahead of the times in the late '80s, with a four-burner Thermador stove/oven that speaks well to present-day needs.
