Factors most businesses consider when selecting a site include costs, availability and skiffs of the workforce, availability of utilities, highway accessibility and location and proximity to markets. Special criteria needed for some companies include sewer systems that can handle a high discharge, expansion capability, high-pressure water usage or access to plentiful natural gas.
