An autopsy concluded that a Vanderburgh County man found dead in his car after a crash Friday on Boonville-New Harmony Road died of injuries suffered in the wreck.
Walter T. Day, 62, lost control of his westbound car about 4:50 p.m. Friday on a curve at Bataan Lane. The car, loaded with just- bought groceries, veered off the south side of the road, slammed into a tree, then rolled down a steep hill into a yard at 2225 E.
