Margie Lee Byers, age 88, of Evansville, Indiana, died Sunday, January 30, 2005, at Parkview Care Center.

Margie worked at Welborn Hospital as an LPN for 22 years.

She is survived by a daughter, Becky Cissna, Evansville, Ind.; son, LaVern Briody and his wife, Nettie, Evansville, Ind.; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Briody; her second husband, Laurel Jack Byers; a daughter, Shirley Wilson; and her parents, Bessie (Denton) and Adam Brown.

Funeral services 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2005, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., with Pastor Tom Flewellen officiating. Burial will follow in Bates Hill Cemetery in Yankeetown, Indiana.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2005, at Browning Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
