Summary
Why wedding disasters in our nod to Valentine's Day? Because the holiday in itself is a bit of love and disaster rolled into one, both historically and metaphorically. And because disdaining the holiday for either its commercialization or as uncoupled singles is passe. And most simply because there is humor in the fact that such weighty expectations of perfection are heaped on a single day of one's life, and we're suckers for a good laugh.
