Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. And Noggin Celebrate Black History Month in February

Summary


Nickelodeon has produced four new spots in celebration of Black History Month that feature and are narrated by African-American kids sharing their thoughts and stories on subject matter ranging from: the Juneteenth Celebration, the state holiday in Texas that commemorates the day slavery was abolished in that state to Gospel Music; Soul Food; Jazz Music; Kwanzaa; Black Rodeo; African-American Culture of The Outer banks; and much more. Another new interstitial will feature Lil' J.J., from Nickelodeon's latest live action series Just Jordan, who will take viewers on a tour of his hometown in Little Rock, Arkansas, and talk about his family life. The spots will run throughout February and 2007 on Nickelodeon's air, and will be featured on [Nick Jr.]'s broadband video channel, TurboNiek, on Nick.com.
