TO THE EDITOR:
What occurred during the halftime show at the Super Bowl is an outrage. That MTV is allowed to broadcast their obscene and profane productions is bad enough, but to allow it on national television when children are going to be watching is intolerable. CBS's apology rings very hollow, since MTV had been announcing for a week or more that something shocking would done by the very female "entertainer" involved. They knew it was coming. Timberlake's "apology", that it was a "wardrobe malfunction" is even more unbelievable. How stupid or naive do they think we are? Hopefully, the NFL will never allow MTV to put on another halftime show and the FCC will enact severe penalties for this.See the full content of this document
