Newstex and LexisNexis recently shook hands on a deal where Newstex Video on Demand content will be channeled through LexisNexis' research platforms. LexisNexis is the first launch distributor for Newstex's video product under the terms of their strategic alliance. LexisNexis customers can now search for video transcripts the same way they search for news and blog content on LexisNexis' research platforms. Video on Demand, which was rolled out in late 2008, gives researchers another media domain to search for content.
