In the game. Bow Wow's So So Def Entertainment and [Nelly]'s Derrty Entertainment took each other on. Serving as "coach" was So So Def mogul and hip-hop producer Jermaine Dupri, also known as Janet Jackson's boyfriend.

Though neither are very tall, both Bow Wow and Nelly seem to have decent hooping skills that would gain them respect on any court in the 'hood - though neither should quit their day jobs to try to join the NBA.

Once the action commenced again in the second half, So So Def stepped up their game, led by Bow Wow. The pint-size rapper scored several points to narrow the gap. Nelly kept pace with Bow Wow, also scoring numerous baskets. The crowd kept the excitement level high, alternately chanting "BOW-WOW!" and "NEL-LY!"
