Catherine M. Morrissey, senior vice president at Wells Fargo Bank in Lincoln, Nebraska, was sworn in as the Nebraska Bankers Association's 2006-2007 chairman, only the 3rd female to hold the organization's chief leadership position in 109 years. She said, during the recent NBA convention, that her year will be about the association's ongoing priorities. Earl McVicker, chairman-elect of the American Bankers Association, complemented Morrissey's message by assuring Nebraska bankers they would bet help on a national level in their efforts on several issues.
