VIRGINIA BEACH - Muriel A. Heckmann went to be with her Lord and Savior on Aug. 26, 2009. Muriel was born Jan. 11, 1917, in Port Washington, N.Y., and was the daughter of Mabel and Walter Smith. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, George M. Heckmann.
Left to cherish her memory are her two children, Ellen A. Gaskey and husband Oliver of Virginia Beach, Richard "Rick" Heckmann and wife Debbie of Plymouth, Mass.; three grandchildren, Michelle May and husband David of New Bern, N.C., Beth Anne Hess and husband Robbie of Mechanicsville, Va., and Michael Mooney of Jacksonville, Fla. Also, there are four great-grandchildren, Laura, Noelle and Jonathan Hess and Ryan Mooney, who affectionately called her "Moo Moo."See the full content of this document
